Patrick Horsman is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Integrated Ag, an agricultural investment firm specializing in developing agricultural real estate on behalf of institutional investors.

Integrated Ag identifies undervalued undeveloped land. Using its vertically integrated team, the firm aggregates parcels together. The team underwrites them specifically as it relates to water resources and then develops them into high tech operating farms with state-of-the-art sub surface drip irrigation, which saves water and boosts productivity.

The firm also engages in arbitrage transactions related to feed crops such as Alfalfa and Sorghum that are exported to the Middle East and China where they sell for premiums to their cost of production.

Integrated Ag is geographically focused on the Southwestern United States primarily Arizona and California.

Blue Sand Securities

Patrick co-founded Blue Sand Securities, a placement agent and broker dealer that raises money for alternative investment funds, hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and venture capital.

Blue Sand was built on the belief that investment talent and sound ethical practices are the cornerstones of institutional investment success. These values helped Blue Sand to raise over $15 billion for its clients.

The team at Blue Sand meets with 100+ prospective managers annually and from those selects only a handful of new funds to raise capital.

20 years of successful hedge fund capital-raising has shaped the firm to be well-attuned to market nuance. Blue Sand uncovers uncorrelated managers who produce alpha, have intriguing risk reward profiles, and who are off the beaten path of most investors.

Unfortunately, in November 2019 the FDA stated “that it cannot conclude that CBD is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) among qualified experts for its use in human or animal food.”
